The Gateway Process

GATE-way
The Monroe Institute's audio training system for altered states, and the CIA's 1983 report analyzing it: the U.S. intelligence community's documented attempt to assess escaping the restrictions of time and space.
Documented

The McDonnell report

Analysis and Assessment of Gateway Process was written in June 1983 by Lieutenant Colonel Wayne M. McDonnell for the Army's INSCOM, assessing the Monroe Institute's Gateway Experience for intelligence applicability: Hemi-Sync brain synchronization, the Focus levels, the energy conversion box, resonance, and the report's theoretical spine, consciousness as a vibrational pattern in a holographic universe, with the stated objective of moving consciousness outside the physical sphere so as to ultimately escape even the restrictions of time and space. The CIA declassified it in 2003; the missing page 25, absent from the initial release, surfaced years later through persistent requests, containing the report's Absolute frame. The document is analysis, not endorsement, a distinction the declassification community maintains and TikTok does not.

Assessment: The report's authorship, date, content, 2003 declassification, and the page-25 saga are documented. The assessment's conclusions are the officer's, which the archive files with the rank attached.
Stories

The government that went out of body

The folk charge of the Gateway file is its mere existence: the same establishment that officially scoffs at the nonlocal mind paid an officer to write thirty pages on how to leave the body, during the same years it was funding the Stargate remote viewers this archive has on file, and the folk verdict writes itself: they do not ridicule what they are not checking. The 2021 TikTok rediscovery turned the report into a manifestation manual, the military's patterning technique rebranded as abundance coaching, which the archive notes is exactly what the archive's Hyperstition entry predicts happens to leaked esoterica.

Assessment: The report's existence and the Stargate adjacency are documented. The TikTok afterlife of the document is documented media history, worth more as reception than as evidence.
Interesting claims

The exit as a line item

The claim: the Gateway report is the archive's proof that the state audits the soul the way it audits everything else, the transcendent filed under applicability, enlightenment assessed for collection requirements, and the deepest line in the file being the framing itself: consciousness that can leave spacetime is, to an intelligence agency, a sensor, the mystic's liberation reclassified as platform capability. Verdict: the archive's verdict holds the documented asymmetry: the Army wrote the report, the monks had the technique for millennia, and only one of them wanted something from it. The escape hatch from time and space exists in the file. The file exists because someone wanted to look through it from a desk. The desk, per the report, is also a vibrational pattern. So is the file. The gnostics said the wardens cannot leave. The Army's report, read carefully, agrees.

Worth asking

If the intelligence community assessed the soul's exit velocity and filed the report, what did they plan to do with the exit?
