Out of the Shadows

William Morrow, October 13, 2026
Jay Stratton's memoir, subtitled Revealing the Truth About Non-Human Intelligent Life, published by HarperCollins imprint William Morrow, billed as the most senior first-hand account of the government's UAP investigations ever written.
Documented

The announced record

Announced 2024, titled and dated June 2026, released October 13, 2026. Publisher's synopsis: UAP incursions over nuclear weapon sites, the co-founding of AAWSAP, the creation of the UAP Task Force, and an alleged 80-year coverup of non-human intelligent life hidden from the public, Congress, and presidents. Producer Dan Farah acquired film and television rights for a scripted series.

Assessment: Documented: the deal, the synopsis, the release. The book exists and says what it says.
Stories

The thriller framing

The publisher's own description: reads like a political thriller, exposes the biggest cover-up in human history. The observation from longtime watchers: memoirs in this genre, Elizondo's Imminent included, carry claims the authors say classification prevents them from proving, so the reader is asked to weigh rank against evidence.

Assessment: Stories: testimony is real testimony. It is not yet the wreckage.
Interesting claims

The counterweight already on file

AARO's Historical Record Report, Volume 1 (March 2024), reviewed the same history and reported no evidence of extraterrestrial technology or a coverup, attributing the claims to circular reporting among a small group. The memoir and the report now sit on the same shelf, contradicting each other in hardcover.

Assessment: Interesting: two official-adjacent records, opposite conclusions. The archive shelves both.
