Born 1981, PhD in philosophy from Stony Brook, Heidegger scholar, then lecturer at NJIT. Prometheus and Atlas (2016), published by Arktos, argues the spectral, psychical research, UFOs, the Trickster, was repressed by both religion and materialism and constitutes the hidden spine of Western thought. The other file: editor at Arktos, co-founder with Richard Spencer of the AltRight Corporation, a 2017 undercover recording in which he predicted concentration camps returning to Europe by 2050, suspension from NJIT, a $25 million lawsuit dismissed in 2019, and subsequent books, Prometheism, Closer Encounters, Occult Horizons, written outside the academy entirely.
The self-mythology is exact: Prometheus steals fire for humanity and is chained for it, and Jorjani reads his own fall from the academy as the chain, the Titan punished by the Olympian institutions for trafficking in forbidden fire, psychical research, Iranian gnosis, political heresy. His defenders call the recording spliced; his critics call it a confession; the judge ruled the defamation claim implausible. Either way the myth he chose is the myth he got, complete with the eagle.
The claim: Jorjani's work is itself a hyperstition about hyperstition, the philosopher arguing that anomalies destabilize consensus reality while personally demonstrating that anomalous figures destabilize their own arguments, his politics now the first thing every reader knows about his parapsychology. Verdict: the archive holds the two facts separately, as it does for Crowley, Aquino, and Dee. The parapsychological file, Stargate, Backster, ganzfeld, stands or falls on its own evidence. The political file stands on recordings and court rulings. The interesting question his own framework forces: does the messenger's contamination invalidate the anomaly, or is contamination the anomaly's oldest camouflage?
If suppressed anomalies are the real engine of thought, what happens to the argument when the arguer becomes the anomaly?
