In the Gathas of Zarathustra (dated c. 1500-1000 BCE, contested), asha (Vedic cousin: rta) is cosmic order and truth; druj is the lie, deception, disorder. Every human chooses a side; the final renovation (frashokereti) ends with asha victorious. The pair structures the earliest surviving dualist theology.
The genealogy claim: Zoroastrian dualism flowed into Jewish, Christian, and Gnostic thought, angel and demon, light and darkness, and the Demiurge's rigged world is druj by another name. The influence is plausible; the pipeline is argued over century by century.
The twist the texts notice: druj can imitate asha, order can be a lie wearing uniformity. A perfectly controlled grid, flawless and total, would be asha's mask on druj's face, which is exactly the Jorjani grid argument in 3,000-year-old vocabulary.
When a civilization names its enemy The Lie, what happens to everyone else's truths?
